Jussi Tiainen is a singer-songwriter with a distinctive voice and a strong emotional core. He began his career in the Turku-based synth-pop band Sima, later honing his signature style in emo-pop and emerging as one of Finland’s most compelling new pop solo artists. His trajectory quickly attracted industry attention, leading to a label deal with Etenee Records in 2017 and a publishing agreement with Nordic Music Partners in 2020. In the writing room, Jussi’s key strengths are his melodic instinct and his rare versatility across genres.

Under his artist alias Costee, Jussi released his debut album Ehkä joskus tää viel naurattaa in 2019 (Etenee Records / Warner Music Finland), establishing him as a defining voice in the Finnish emo-pop movement. Alongside developing new local talent, Jussi is rapidly building an international profile as a songwriter. His first major international cut, “Back in the Game” by Peder Elias (Sony Music Norway, 2020), marks a clear step toward global recognition.
